I think that the Vintage style from 2011 is set to stay with us for 2012 and the use of different textures of papers and vellums adds a new dimension to the trend. I also think Black and White is becoming extremely popular and the addition of beautiful crystal and pearl embellishments gives a very Audrey Hepburn feel to your Wedding. One of the most popular wedding invitation types last year were Pocket Invites and I think that will continue in 2012. They are not only pretty, but offer a practical solution to the ever increasing amount of information that couples want to provide their guests with. Filling the Pockets with the wedding itinerary, reception info, maps, etc keeps your guests prepared and on schedule.

had a great day yesterday at Danesfield House wedding fair. Bit quiet first thing in the morning but had picked up by lunchtime. Some great suppliers there including Caan Thomas Jeweller and Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery. Beautiful venue, very classical and luxurious. They had thier main room set up for a wedding breakfast with fabulous chair covers and sashes from Sue Johnson at Vesuvius whose website you can find on my links page. Had a lovely day at Burnham Beeches yesterday. Lots of great suppliers there including a fantastic florist that I had'nt met before from Petals & Confetti. They had some beautiful centre pieces in hot pink that really made the table pop. I have added her details to my Links page so take a trip to her website. The day was really busy and also managed to catch up with four of my clients who will be getting married at Burnham Beeches this year.
